Welcome to Mere Brook House
Mere Brook House is an imposing Edwardian country house offering high class bed and breakfast with facilities for celebrations and business meetings on the Wirral. It is situated in its own grounds extending to almost four acres which include a beautiful garden with sunken dell sheltered by mature trees with paddocks and a woodland area beyond running down to the Mere Brook. It is situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Thornton Hough on the Wirral, between the famous cities of Liverpool and Chester.
Mere Brook House has recently been renovated by a team of dedicated craft and trades people to update its facilities whilst retaining and enhancing many of its traditional features.
Whether staying on the Wirral due to business commitments or on a social visit or to play golf we can offer you a warm welcome where you can work or relax in comfortable and luxurious surroundings.
The gardens offer a truly relaxing sanctuary with numerous species of butterfly, birds and wildlife to be observed.
In keeping with the relaxed atmosphere of a private country house the four bedrooms have been individually designed using a mix of antique and contemporary furniture and fabrics.
The oak panelled lounge, conservatory and garden lounge all overlook the gardens with direct access to the terrace.
All rooms throughout the house have access to hard wired broadband in addition to a wireless system.
