Bedrooms

Mere Brook House now has a total of eight bedrooms, in addition to the main house we have recently opened the newly refurbished and extended Mere Brook cottage which is situated on the edge of the gardens at the rear of the house. This building is a former coach house which in the 60’s was converted to a residential cottage. We have created a different but equally impressive style to the main house by installing oak trusses, oak beams and oak doors throughout.

This new accommodation comprises four additional ensuite bedrooms and as we were keen to ensure those staying in the cottage have an equal experience to staying in the house cottage guests have free access to a kitchen and the use of a lovely large open plan lounge that has patio doors overlooking the garden. All bedrooms at Mere Brook Bed and Breakfast have been  individually designed using a mix of antique and contemporary furniture and fabrics.

We actively encourage our guests to use all parts of the cottage and help themselves to a snack of homemade cakes, cheese, fruit juice and tea and coffee from the kitchen and to work or relax in the lounge. There is hard wired internet access in addition to WiFi throughout the cottage allowing business and social guests to work or keep in touch with family and friends.

All the rooms are designed with your comfort in mind. The beds have pocket sprung mattresses, all rooms have colour TVs and tea and coffee making refreshment facilities. Hair dryers and irons are also provided.
