Lounges

Mere Brook prides itself on being a 5 star gold luxurious but comfortable, homely accommodation. The country house is fortunate in being able to offer guests access to two lounges in addition to the seating area in the reception hall. The oak lounge is a traditional room with oak panelling, at Mere Brook house we offer a unique style of accommadtion as we designed the different lounge areas in the hope that our guests can relax, try some homemade cakes and put their feet up and watch TV - feeling right at home!

The Garden Room is a much larger lounge area often used by guests to enjoy a peaceful afternoon overlooking the pond and gardens of Mere Brook, the Garden Room is also a favourite for guests to gather at events as the double doors of the lounge open up onto the surrounding dell and gardens, perfect for summer celebrations !
