Wirral WalkingThe Wirral Way is a path on the track of the old railway, twelve miles long from West Kirby to Hooton. It has been made suitable for walkers and cyclists and there is a parrellell path for horse riders. The scenery and views are spectacular and weave in and out of the coast line.

The Wirral Way is within the Wirral Country Park which has its main visitors centre at Thurstaston with excellent picnic and BBQ facilties, café, bird hide, toilets and shops part way along the path. Further details can be found on www.westwirralwalks.co.uk
