Mere Brook has four dining areas...
Breakfasts and business buffets are served in the conservatory, which as you would expect is a bright and light space overlooking the gardens.
The Main Dining Room
The main dining room is one of the most elegant in the house with its unique, ornate coving and exquisite furnishings. Its style is set off with a 15-foot solid mahogany table, which, with its purpose made extension, can seat up to 28 guests for a feast! An additional table, that can seat a further 12 guests, can also be brought into the dining room. In total, a maximum of 40 guests can be seated formally in this room at any one time.
The Garden Room
The garden room is mainly used as a lounge, but also provides a perfect venue for a drinks reception with canapés. More recently we have also used part of it as formal dining for wedding breakfasts. It can be set up so that the bride and groom can sit at the head of the table and see all their guests within the main dining room. After the meal, the space can be transformed into an area for dancing.
The Coach House
The coach house dining room is a more intimate area for private gatherings or business meetings, with an adjoining kitchen area. This light airy room offers a high ceiling and oak trusses, beaming with character. The room is home to a large, antique, solid walnut table seating a maximum of 14.
All dining areas have access to hard wired broadband in addition to a wireless system.
